Speed Split is a photographic series where movement, space and the subject intertwine to tell a new story. A history where introspection, individual refuge and the body- as a center of power-, consumer and generator of energy, is the territory where the institutional exclusion policies that had previously been applied abroad, to the “other” have been deployed. Confinement provokes an alternative vision of sovereignty, displacing national policies from borders to the individual body. The limits are now our own skin, the suits, the masks, the air we breathe and the reduced universe of the four walls of the home."
